L. Brewton Succumbs, Rites At Robeline Funeral services for Mrs. Carrah G. Page, 77, who died Thursday in Winnfield General Hospital after a lengthy illness, were held at the Methodist Church in Robeline on Saturday, May 23, at 3 p.m. with the Rev. H. P. McFarland of Robeline officiating, assisted by Rev. Wilmer Birdwell of Robeline and Rev. George Pearce, Jr. of Natchitoches. Mrs. Page came to Robeline from St. Augustine, Texas at a very early age. Her passing leaves only one living member of the first graduating class of Robeline High School. She was the widow of the late Luther Page, a prominent businessman and planter. Interment was in the Robeline Cemetery under direction of First National Funeral Home of Natchitoches. She is survived by four daughters, Mrs. Lucille Olivier, Lafayette, Mrs. A. C. Lee, Dixie, Mrs. L. L. Brewton, Winnfield, and Mrs. Curtis Cufour, Robeline, four grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren, and two brotehrs, V. E. Greer, Shreveport, and L. G. Greer, Muskogee, Okla. Pallbearers were Tom Elkins, T. L. Ward, Jack Bell, Albert Bell, Eugene Jordan, Elrod Stewart, Henry Mitchell, and N. B. Morrison.
