All rights reserved. http://usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://usgwarchives.net/la/lafiles.htm ********************************************** From: June 5, 1959 Winn Parish Enterprise News-American Last Rites For Mrs. Wyley Page Held Tuesday Mrs. Wyley Page, 76, a resident of Baton Rouge for the past seven years, died in a Baton Rouge hospital Sunday, June 1, 1969, at 5:30 p.m. She was a native of Winn Parish and was the former Miss Alma Melton. Funeral services were conducted in Winnfield at Southern Funeral Home Chapel at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday with Dr. W. L. Holcomb, former pastor of the First Baptist Church, and Rev. Thomas Cox, present pastor, officiating. Burial was in the Garden of Memories Cemetery, Winnfield. Surviving are her husband, Wyley Page; one son, Hershel Page; two daughters, Mrs. C. N. Chandler and Mrs. Andy Barnes, all of Baton Rouge; two sisters, Mrs. J. M. Tarver of Winnfield and Mrs. R. K. Garrett of Pineville; two brothers, Fletcher Melton and Clifford Melton, both of Winnfield; 14 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. Grandsons served as pallbearers.
