Eugene Love and Dr. Calvin Phelps officiating. Burial was in Atlanta Cemetery. Mrs. Page died Friday, April 25, 1980 in the local hospital after a long illness. She was a charter member of the First Baptist Church of Winnfield. Survivors include two sons, Sheriff Dan L. Page of Winnfield and Gerald Page of Lake Charles; two brothers, Harvey Myrick and B. L. "Babe" Myrick both of Winnfield; a sister, Mrs. Clara Simmons of Dallas, six grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Pallbearers were James Watts, Pat Harrell, Bill White, Leo Shelton, Harper Terrill, and Norman Smith. Among those relatives and friends from out of town who attended the funeral Saturday, April 26, 1980 of Mrs. Christine Myrick Page were: Mr. and Mrs. G. Lamar Myrick of Metairie; Mr. and Mrs. B. H. (Tina Ray) Canter of Oakdale; Mr. and Mrs. Hershel Page of Baton Rouge and their son, John M. Page, also of Baton Rouge; Sheriff-elect and Mrs. Van Beasley of Jonesboro; Sheriff Leonard "Pop" Hattaway of Colfax; L. W. Hattaway of Dry Prong; and George G. Givens of Colfax.
