All rights reserved. http://usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://usgwarchives.net/la/lafiles.htm ********************************************** From: March 29, 1962 Winn Parish Enterprise-News American Henry Page, 64, Succumbs; Buried At Sanders Chapel Henry Page, 64-year-old native of Winn Parish, was found dead at a privately owned fishing camp on Saline Lake, Winn Parish, at 8 p.m. Friday, March 23. The body was discovered by Robert Heard, Winnfield banker and co-owner of the camp. Mr. Page, an employee of the U. S. Forestry Service, had resided at the camp for many years. Fisherman said they had chatted with Mr. Page, who had been viewing television shortly before he was found dead in his cabin. An autopsy showed that he died of a heart attack. A lifetime resident of Winn Parish, he is survived by two brothers, Wiley Page, Baton Rouge, and Steven Page, Port Arthur; and two sisters, Mrs. Clara Gray, Atlanta, La., and Mrs. Mary Smith, Marshall, Texas. Last rites were conducted at the Southern Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Ray Teal of Atlanta officiating. Burial was in Sanders Chapel Cemetery near Calvin.
