Mrs. Melissa Page Dies at Age 91; Burial Friday A. M.

Mrs. Melissa Sandiford Page, who would have been 92 years of age if she had
lived until her next birthday, November 15, passed away at the Fuqua Hospital,
Pineville, at 2:15 a.m. Thursday, May 26, 1960.

Funeral services will be conducted at Southern Funeral Home in Winnfield at
10:30 a.m. Friday, May 27.  Burial will follow in Sanders Chapel Cemetery.

Mrs. Page was born Nov. 15, 1868 in the vicinity of Calvin.  She spent most of
her life in Winnfield and was a member of the First Methodist Church of
Winnfield.

Surviving are three sons, Wiley and Henry Page of Winnfield, and Stephen Page
of Port Arthur, Texas; two daughters, Mrs. Clara Page, Atlanta, and Mrs. Mary
Smith of Marshall, Texas; one sister, Mrs. Bertha Rogers, Fresno, Calif.; 11
grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren.
