Funeral services were held at the Mt. Zion Methodist Church of which Mrs. Paige was a member, Monday afternoon, Feb. 21. Mrs. Lula Wardlow conducted the services. Interment was in the Mt. Zion Cemetery. A member of a prominent family of this state, Mrs. Paige was the youngest daughter of the late James Tyson (Tison) and the last surviving sister of Mrs. Caladonia Tyson (Tison) Long, mother of the late Senator Huey P. Long and ex- Governor Earl K. Long. In early life Mrs. Paige taught school in Winn and Grant Parishes. She is survived by her husband and one son, James Tyson (Tison) Paige of Montgomery; two daughters, Mrs. Virgil Hickman also of Montgomery and Mrs. Leon Hotard of Livingston, La., and one brother, E. B. Tyson (Tison) of Verda and seven grandchildren.
