Funeral Services Saturday For Mrs. Blanche Palmer

Mrs. Blanche Palmer, a resident of Cullen, near Springhill, was buried in Pine
Ridge Cemetery in Winn Parish last Saturday, following her death Thursday
at Springhill.

Services were at the Laurel Heights Assembly of God Church with Rev. Edgar
Gunter officiating.

Mrs. Palmer was born February 4, 1895, in Georgia.  She would have been 59
at her next birthday.

Survivors include her husband, Gilbert Palmer of 205 North Boundary,
Winnfield; three sons, Lowell Palmer, Winnfield, Gilbert Palmer, Jr.,
Goldonna; and Pfc. Harold Palmer with the Army in New York; three daughters,
Mrs. Eunice Whitlow, Winnfield, Mrs. Grace Carpenter, Winnfield, and Mrs.
Margie Bailey of Shreveport; 11 grandchildren; three brothers, Walter Bradley
and Watkin Bradley of Goldonna, and Wiley Bradley of Shreveport; two sisters
including Mrs. Lois Maxwell of Shreveport.
