Mrs. Parker

The funeral of Mrs. Lizzie Parker, 76, of Columbia, was held at 11 a.m.
Friday in Friendship Baptist Church in Sikes with the Rev. Glen Griffin
officiating.

Burial was in Friendship Cemetery under direction of Riser and Son Funeral
Home of Columbia.

Mrs. Parker died Wednesday, January 3, 1979 in Caldwell Memorial Hospital
in Columbia after a brief illness.

Survivors include three sons, Rush Parker of Urania, Ted Parker of Olla and
M. M. "Doc" Parker of Winnfield, a daughter, Mrs. Marjorie Rushing of Grayson,
two brothers, Fleet Gregory of Houston and Alon Gregory of Winnfield; six
sisters, Mrs. Ella Parker of Winnfield, Mrs. Laura Dunn of Olla, Mrs. Velma
Johnson of West Monroe, Emma Parker, Mrs. Ida Head and Mrs. Hazel Walker,
all of Sikes; eight grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers were Harvey Harold, Jack Johnson, John Parker and Lloyd
Johnson.
