Mrs. Mary Parsons Funeral Conducted Tuesday Afternoon

Funeral services were held at the Old Union Baptist Church at 2 p.m. Tuesday
for Mrs. Mary Catherine Parsons, 64, who died January 22 at Pineville.  Rites
were conducted by the Rev. Ralph Frazier and interment was in the Old Union
Cemetery under the direction of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home.

A native of Winn Parish, the deceased resided in the Hudson Community.

She is survived by two sons, Louis Parsons of Dodson and Lonnie Parsons of
Route 4, Winnfield; two daughters, Mrs. Pauline Clark of Winnfield and Mrs.
Rose Mary Casey of San Antonio, Tex.; and two sisters, Mrs. John Porter of
Route 2, Winnfield and Mrs. Audie Meyers of Chicago, Ill.
