Parker Of Gaars Mill Killed In England Carnie L. Parker, 30, tech-sergeant in the Air Force stationed in England, was killed in a vehicle accident on October 2, according to a telegram received by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Lewis A. Parker of the Gaars Mill Community. The telegram stated that additional information would be forwarded later. Graduating from the Gaars Mill High School in 1941, Parker served four years in the Navy. He then joined the Air Force, where he has been for the past six years, two of which have been spent in England. Surviving are his wife, Jean Kennedy Parker of Wyatt; his parents, and three brothers, Marshall Parker, Gaars Mill, Donis Parker, Abilene, Texas, and Bruce Parker, Bossier City.
