All rights reserved. http://usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://usgwarchives.net/la/lafiles.htm ********************************************** From: September 30, 1971 Winn Parish Enterprise News-American Mrs. Parker, 80, Succumbs; Rites Near Tallulah Funeral services for Mrs. Clarence Parker of Tallulah, 80, who died in a Delhi hospital Thursday, September 23, 1971, were held at 3 p.m. Friday in the Willow Bayou Baptist Church near Tallulah, where she was a member, with the Rev. Grover Smith and the Rev. H. T. Hammond officiating. Burial was in the Silver Cross Cemetery. Survivors include six daughters, Mrs. W. O. Wiggins, Mrs. Herman Thornton, and Mrs. O. M. Gunn, all of Tallulah, Mrs. B. F. Foster of Georgetown, Mrs. R. W. Wiggins of Baton Rouge, and Mrs. R. S. Freeman of Homer; three sons, Sanford Parker and Winifred Parker, both of Tallulah, and Clarence Parker of Northeast, Md.; three sisters, Mrs. H. Johnson and Mrs. Fred Graves, both of Montgomery, and Mrs. Tommy Harlan of Winnfield; two brothers, Tom Wise of Atlanta and Ellie Wise of Montgomery; 29 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
