Mrs. E. Parker, 78, Succumbs; Rites Held Tues.

Mrs. Emma Alice Parker, 78, of Hebron Community, died Sunday, February 11,
1968 in a Columbia hospital.

She was the widow of the late John Parker.

She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Gladys May of Grayson and Mrs. Burlie
Dortoin of Clarks; two sons, Roy Parker and O. F. Parker, both of Grayson;
two brothers, Jack Crain of Sikes and Oscar Crain of Grayson; two sisters,
Mrs. Zelma Mote and Mrs. Lela Gates, both of Clarks; eight grandchildren and
16 great grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Tuesday in the Friendship Baptist Church
at Sikes with Rev. A. A. Calhoun officiating.  Burial was in the church
cemetery by Southern Funeral Home.
