Parker, 58, were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the chapel of Southern Funeral Home of Winnfield with the Rev. Willie James officiating. Burial was in Sikes Cemetery. Miss Parker died late Sunday, April 26, 1970 in the Willis-Knighten Hospital in Shreveport. She was the daughter of the late Dr. and Mrs. J. B. Parker of Sikes. A native of Sikes, Miss Parker was a nurse anesthetist and served in the Army Nurse Corps during World War II. She was a member of the Wynn Methodist Church and the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists. She is survived by five sisters, Mrs. Reuel Emmons, Mrs. Puckett Willis, and Miss Nell Parker, all of Sikes, Mrs. Irma McGlocklin, Dallas, Tex., and Mrs. Everette Moore of Orlando, Fla.; and numerous nieces and nephews.
