Artie E. Parker

Services for Artie E. Parker, 78, of Winnfield, were held at 3:30 p.m.
Wednesday in the chapel of Southern with Dr. Calvin Phelps and Rev. J. P.
Miles officiating.  Burial was in Garden of Memories Cemetery.

She died at 11 p.m. Monday, January 28, in her home.

She was a resident of Winnfield since 1935 and was a member of the Laurel
Heights Baptist Church.

Survivors include three daughters, Frances Bradshaw of Monroe, Bobbie Johnston
of Shreveport, and Betty Sue Brewton of Winnfield; three sisters,
Jewel Hagler and Marie Warren, both of Corpus Christi, Texas and Ocie Endom of
Stamps, Ark.; 12 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren.
