Funeral services were held in the Chatham Baptist Church with Revs. Dervis Tippen and Calvin Lapuyade officiating. Burial was in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery. Mr. Parker was a member of the Baptist Church and a retired mechanic. Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Ethel Parker of Chatham; three daughters, Mrs. Patricia Atkins of Clay, Mrs. Barbara Enterkin of Ferriday, and Miss Peggy Parker of Chatham; two brothers, Ray Parker of Georgetown and Ben Parker of Pollock; three sisters, Mrs. Faye Kyson, Mrs. Lucy Kees of Bentley, and Miss Hazel Parker of Orange, Texas; and four grandchildren.
