L. L. Parker, 69, Former Winn Resident, Dies

Lloyd L. Parker, 69, of Jonesboro, died at 5 a.m. Wednesday, February 9, 1972
at his residence after a long illness.  He was retired sales manager for a
Jonesboro auto dealer and past president of Jonesboro-Hodge Kiwanis Club.

He was a native of Winn Parish and formerly a resident of Winnfield at which
time he was sales manager at Max Thieme Chevrolet Co.

Funeral services were held at 3 p.m. Thursday at First Baptist Church, where
he was a member, with the Revs. Bill Fuller and Lowell Reichardt officiating.
Burial was in Siloam Cemetery at Gansville.

Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Nell Milam Parker; a daughter, Miss Jeanie
Parker, both of Jonesboro; one sister, Mrs. Blanche White; and two brothers,
Lawrence Parker and R. J. Parker, all of Sikes.
