Final Rites For B. G. Pasco Held Saturday, Oct. 16

Funeral rites for Benjamin Gilbert Pasco, 82 year old Winnfield resident, who
died at 4 a.m. Friday in a local hospital after a long illness, were held at 2
p.m. Saturday in the Southern Funeral Home chapel.  The Rev. Robert Gage and
Dr. W. L. Holcomb officiated.

Burial was in the Garden of Memories Cemetery.

Mr. Pasco was a native of Sherman, Texas, but had resided in Winn Parish the
past 40 years.  He was a retired Tremont Lumber Company civil engineer and a
member of the Presbyterian Church.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Joyce Tullos Pasco and one daughter, Mrs.
Mariah Smith of Lafayette, and a step sister, Mrs. Verna Hillen of Pryor,
Okla.

Pallbearers were Harper Terrill, Leo Sowers, Glenn Richards, M. J. Fowler,
Hewey Walker, and Marvin Harrell.
