John C. Patton of Atlanta Dies At Home of Daughter

Funeral Services Held On Sunday At Atlanta M. E. Church

John C. Patton, age 84, died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. E. G. Ferguson,
of Atlanta, on Saturday afternoon, December 19, following an illness of
several years.  

The deceased is a member of the Atlanta Methodist Episcopal Church, where the
funeral services were held on Sunday, conducted by the Rev. A. H. Baggett,
pastor, and interment was in the Atlanta Cemetery.

Mr. Patton is survived by one son, Albert Patton, of Arkansas; four daughters,
Mrs. E. G. Ferguson, Atlanta, Mrs. J. L. Ferguson, Winnfield, Mrs. Mac Shy,
Aitmont, Kansas, and Mrs. Etta Orendorf, Hoffman, Okla.

Pallbearers included M. F. Collier, K. A. Thomas, A. Bell, Leon Vails.
