Mrs. Eula Peavy Dies; Rites Set For Thursday

Mrs. Eula Joann Peavy, 88, of Winnfield, died Wednesday, August 25, 1976 at
4:30 a.m. in a local hospital.

Mrs. Peavy was a member of the Perkins family, prominent Winn Parish natives
and a member of the United Methodist Church.

Funeral services will be Thursday at 11 a.m. in Southern Funeral Home Chapel
with Rev. Eskel Tatum officiating.

Interment will be in the Winnfield City Cemetery.

Survivors include one daughter in law, Mrs. Henry G. Peavy of Winnfield; two
grandsons, Jesse E. Peavy and Kenneth H. Peavy both of Houston, Texas, one
granddaughter, Kathryn S. Wallace of Houston, Texas, and six great
grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
