Dale E. Pepper, 41, Succumbs, Rites Held Sept. 3

Dale E. Pepper, 41, of Sikes, died Tuesday, September 1, 1970, at his home.

Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Thursday in the Sharon Baptist Church
near Sikes with the Rev. Ed Williams officiating.  Burial was in the Wright
Cemetery near Sikes.

Mr. Pepper was a pipeline employee and a veteran of the Korean War.

Survivors include his parents, Mr. and Mrs. L. C. Pepper of Sikes; five
brothers, Louis Pepper and Garland Pepper, both of Gonzales, Leroy Pepper of
Urania, Carl Pepper of Texas City, Texas, and Howard Pepper of Jonesville; two
sisters, Mrs. Loraine Green of Monroe and Mrs. Geraldine Compton of Texas.
