Mrs. Nettie Perdue, Relative of Winn Residents, Dies

Funeral services for Mrs. Nettie Perdue, 78, of Jonesboro, were held at 2 p.m.
June 16, 1965 in Quitman Baptist Church with Rev. Paul Johnson officiating. 
Burial was in the Siloam Cemetery near Gansville, under direction of Hixson
Brothers Funeral Home of Winnfield.

Mrs. Perdue died Sunday at the home of her daughter in Jonesboro.

Survivors are a son, Guy C. Perdue, Vacaville, Calif.; two stepsons, Jess
Perdue of Norphlet, Ark., and Harper Perdue of Camden, Ark.; three daughters,
Mrs. Helen Fezatte, Sterlington, Mrs. Don Thrift, Quitman, and Mrs. Marie
Deal, Jonesboro; two stepdaughters, Mrs. Linnie Odenbauch of Quitman
and Mrs. Dorothy Baskin of Bastrop; a brother, Melton Robeson of Sikes; four
sisters, Mrs. Machle Jones of Crossett, Ark., Mrs. Alma Chandler of Dodson,
Mrs. Effie Perkins and Mrs. Lloyd Vernon, both of Texarkana, Tex.; 14
grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
