C. Perdue, Winn Native, Dies Thursday Funeral services for Mrs. Grace L. Perdue, 63, of Shreveport were held at 11 a.m. Saturday in Southern Funeral Home Chapel in Winnfield with the Rev. Charles Havery officiating. Burial was in Garden of Memories in Winnfield. Mrs. Perdue died at 2 p.m. Thursday, February 26, 1976 in Wilis-Knighton Hospital. A native of Winn Parish she was a licensed practical nurse at Willis-Knighton Hospital and a member of Sunset Acres Baptist Church. Survivors include her husband, J. C. Perdue of Shreveport; three sons, Jerry Perdue of Houston, Tex., and Douglas Perdue and James Perdue, both of Shreveport, three sisters, Mrs. Essie Smith of Winnsboro, Mrs. Ellen Jordan of Winnfield and Mrs. Dorcas Prothro of Shreveport; five brothers, W. E. James and the Rev. Willie James, both of Sikes, Ray James of Dodson and Roy James and Melvin James, both of Winnfield and seven grand-children.
