Husband of Winn Native Dies in Monroe

Dave Perkins, 45, husband of the former Margaret Brewer, of Winnfield, died in 
Monroe Friday at 3 p.m., following a stroke.  Funeral services were conducted
Sunday at 2 p.m., with burial in the Memorial Cemetery in Monroe.

Besides his wife Mr. Perkins is survived by several sisters and brothers.

Attending the funeral from Winnfield were Mr. and Mrs. J. W. Brewer and
children, Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Smith, Sr., and Charles, Mr. and Mrs. Clyde
Smith, Jr., Patrician Ann, Mrs. Soley Hilton, Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Jordan and
sons of Hudson, Mr. and Mrs. Jesse Brewer and son, Jess Dale, of Tannehill,
Mrs. Mary Roberts and son, Jerry, and Mrs. T. A. Dean.
