R. N. Peters, 81, Winn Native, Dies Monday

Funeral services for R. N. Peters, 81, of DeRidder, were held at 2 p.m.
Wednesday at the First Baptist Church in DeRidder with the Rev. Emory Wallace
officiating.  Burial was in the Oregon Cemetery under the direction of Hixson
Funeral Home.

Mr. Peters died Monday, December 1, 1969 at a hospital in Lake Charles.

He was a native of Winn Parish and the brother of the late Ben Peters and
Horace Peters of Winnfield.

Survivors are four sons, Dr. W. W. Peters of DeRidder, M. L. Peters of
Pasadena, Texas, J. C. Peters of Harrisburg, Ohio, and S. D. Peters; four
daughters, Mrs. S. A. Simpson of Pasadena, Tex., Mrs. D. P. Richardson of
Orange, Tex., Mrs. C. P. Boone of Clewinton, Fla., and Mrs. M. F. Lee of
Hankertown, Md.; 19 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
