Mrs. Peters

Funeral services for Mrs. Myra H. Peters, 97, of Winnfield, were held at 11 
a.m. Saturday in Beech Creek Baptist Church at Olla with the Rev. J. L. Holt 
and the Rev. William Gates officiating.

Burial was in the church cemetery under the direction of Southern Funeral Home 
of Winnfield.

Mrs. Peters died Thursday, February 9, 1978 at 8 p.m. in the local hospital 
after a lengthy illness.

A native of Winn Parish, Mrs. Peters was a member of the Beech Creek Baptist 
Church.

Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Alma Jenkins of Winnfield; two sisters, 
Mrs. Irene Mixon of Bossier City and Mrs. Lottie Abrams of Jackson, La.; six 
grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild.
