Mrs. Jane Pierce Is Buried Aug. 4 At Sanders Chapel

Funeral rites for Mrs. Jane Pierce, 87 year old Goldonna woman who died at 5
?. m., Sunday, August 2, at her home after a short illness, were held at 10
a.m. Tuesday in the Goldonna Baptist Church.

The Rev. E. K. Killingsworth officiated at the services.  Burial was in
Sanders Chapel Cemetery under direction of Southern Funeral Home.

Mrs. Pierce was a native of Natchitoches Parish and a member of the Baptist
Church.

Survivors include his four sons, C. M. Pierce of Houston, Tex., A. O. Pierce,
D. O. Pierce, and L. E. Pierce of Goldonna; one daughter, Mrs. Rhodie Smith of
Clarks; 21 grandchildren, 44 great grandchildren, and three great great
grandchildren.
