Walter Clint Pine

Services for Dr. Walter Clint Pine of Natchitoches, La., were at 2:30 p.m.
Sunday, September 15, in Natchitoches at Westside Baptist Church where he was
a member and deacon.  Burial, under direction of Blanchard-St. Denis Funeral
Home, was in Coldwater Cemetery near Natchitoches.

Pine, 56, died Thursday, September 12, 1991 in Schumpert Medical Center in
Shreveport, La.

He was a native of Gansville Community in Winn Parish, son of Archie Leroy and
Sibbie Thompson Pine.  Dr. Pine was a professor of mathematics at Northwestern
State University at Northwestern State University for 28 years.

Survivors include his wife, Martha Pine of Natchitoches; one son, David Clint
Pine of Natchitoches; one daughter, Mary Ellen Welch of Sand Springs, Okla.;
his parents, Mr. and Mrs. A. L. Pine of Natchitoches; one sister, Connie Pine
of Houston, Texas; and one grandchild.
