OBITUARIES

R. Plunkett, Montgomery, Dies At Age 86


Reuben Plunkett, 86, of Montgomery, died at 1:45 a. m. Wednesday, July 24,
1974 in a local hospital.

He is survived by two sons, Otis Plunkett and O. W. Plunkett, both of Rock
Hill; two daughters, Mrs. Ruby Burch of Montgomery and Mrs. Bernice Gongre of
Belle Chasse; a half-brother, Henry Cox of Montgomery; one sister, Mrs. Pearl
Lambert of Montgomery, 11 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at 3 p. m. Thursday in the Church of Christ in
Montgomery.  Burial was in Mt. Zion Cemetery.
