Rites For W. G. Plunkett Held Wed., May 8

Funeral services for W. G. "Bill" Plunkett, 70, were held Wednesday at 2:30
p.m. at 
Mt. Zion Methodist Church with Rev. Campbell officiating.  Burial was in the
Mount
Zion Cemetery near Montgomery under the direction of Southern Funeral Home.

He died unexpectedly Monday, May 6, 1968 at his home in Atlanta.  He was a
lifelong resident of Winn Parish and a member of the Atlanta Methodist Church
and a 32nd degree Mason.

Survivors include two sisters, Mrs. Nena Davies and Mrs. H. O. Baker of
Winnfield, and one brother, Paul Plunkett of Oakdale, California.
