Truck Kills Dan Poisso In Augusta, Ga.

Sgt. Dan Poisso, age 26, was accidentally killed in Augusta, Ga., when an army
truck ran over him Saturday, August 6.  Funeral services were held Tuesday,
August 12 with burial being made in the Iatt Cemetery.

Poisso had served eight years in the army.  A military escort came with the
remains to Verda where his parents, Mr. and Mrs. P. Poisso, reside.

He is survived by his parents, several brothers and sisters. Mrs. Luella
Lasyone, a sister, lives in Winnfield.
