Barbara Jean Ponds

Graveside services for Barbara Jean Ponds were held at 2 p.m. Sunday in
Magnolia Cemetery with the Rev. Rayford Higgs officiating.  Burial was under
direction of Hixson Brothers, Jena.

Mrs. Ponds, 62, of Tullos, died at 10:30 p.m. Thursday, September 28, 1989 at
her residence.  She was a housewife.

Survivors include her husband, Archie Ponds, of Tullos; six sons, Archie
Ronald Ponds of California, Robert Ponds of Cleburne, Texas, Gary Ponds of
Ball, Gregg Ponds of Tullos, Richard Ponds of Monroe, Wash., and John Ponds of
Gardenia, Calif.; three daughters, Nadie Velasco and Connie Ponds, both of
Torrance, Calif., and Judy Ponds of Pineville, and 17 grandchildren.
