Funeral For Mrs. Willie Poole Held Thursday, 3 P. M.

Funeral services for Mrs. Willie Poole, 75, who died at her home on Center
Street, Wednesday, October 13, 1948, after a long illness, were held at the
First Baptist Church Thursday at 3 p.m., with the pastor, Rev. H. H. McBride,
in charge.  Assisting with the services were Rev. H. J. Mott and Rev. Fred
Flurry.  Burial was in the Winnfield Cemetery under direction of Southern
Funeral Home.

Born June 15, 1873, near Winnfield, Mrs. Poole spent her entire life in this
parish.  She was a member of the Baptist Church.

Surviving are her husband, Willie Poole, of Winnfield; one daughter, Mrs. R.
T. Sessum, Baton Rouge; three sons, R. E., E. L., and J. A. Poole, all of
Winnfield; one brother, Buck Evans, Aimwell, La., and 12 grandchildren and
seven great grandchildren.
