All rights reserved. http://usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://usgwarchives.net/la/lafiles.htm ********************************************** From: December 8, 1932 Winn Parish Enterprise Funeral Rites For Mrs. Edwin Poole Wednesday The death of Mrs. Edwin Poole, which occurred at her home here Monday night at 12:30, following a short illness, occasioned widespread sorrow and regret. She was seized with a violent illness, said to be due to appendicitis, last Friday night and her condition grew worse until death came. She was a member of the First Baptist Church, Winnfield, where funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock. The Rev. Alwin Stokes, pastor Presbyterian Church, conducted the services, assisted by the Rev. A. H. Cullen. Mrs. Poole before her marriage was Miss Eva Hart. She leaves her husband and one son, Edwin, five years of age. She is also survived by her mother, Mrs. C. H. Robinson of Houston, Texas; father, J. B. Hart of Tallulah; sister, Mrs. J. B. Richardson, Houston, Texas; brother, Thompson Hart, Houston, Texas; and grandmother, Mrs. A. E. Thompson of Winnsboro. Other relatives attending the funeral services were Mrs. M. E. Thompson, Mrs. W. M. Guice, Mrs. C. W. Berry, Mrs. Alice Thompson, Mrs. Kate Lazarus, Mrs. Elizabeth Carlyle, and Abner Guice, of Winnsboro; J. H. Hart of Delhi, and Mrs. W. H. Huckaby of Monroe.
