Porter Is Laid To Rest At Corinth Winn Parish Woman Dies At Tullos After Long Illness Mrs. Ibzan Porter, 47, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Emory Watson, in Tullos, Tuesday at 9 a.m., following an illness of three year's duration. Funeral services were conducted at the Corinth Church Wednesday afternoon with Rev. W. D. Sherwood and Rev. Alwin Stokes officiating. Mrs. Porter was before her marriage Miss Dama Long. She was a life-long resident of this parish and a member of the Baptist church. Surviving are her husband, Ibzan Porter, two sons and two daughters, Mrs. Emory Watson, Cecil and Baxter Porter, Tullos, and Mrs. Charles Bolton, Winnfield; her mother, Mrs. John Long, Winnfield; two brothers and three sisters, Mrs. Jim Bolton, Winnfield; Mrs. Claudia Linam, Mooringsport, Mrs. Robbie Barron, El Paso, Texas; Charles Long of Ruston, and Jim Long of Tullos. Mrs. Porter was the niece of Tom Long and Harrison Long of this parish.
