Francis Marion Porter, Obit December 8, 1976, Winn Parish Enterprise

Francis Marion Porter, 84, of Winnfield died Tuesday, November 30, 1976 at 11
p.m. in a local hospital.

Mr. Porter was a native of Winn Parish and a veteran of World War I.

Survivors include one brother, Harold Porter of Winnfield; three sisters, Lena
Porter and Loyce Porter, both of Winnfield; and mrs. Lillian Allen of Vinton;
numerous nieces and nephews.

Services were held Thursday at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Southern Funeral Home
here.  Burial was in New Jerusalem Cemetery.
