Funeral Services For Mrs. A. E. Porter Held Saturday

Funeral services were held at the Corinth Graveyard Saturday, June 11th, for
Mrs. Annie Elizabeth Porter, with Rev. J. A. McMurry in charge.

Mrs. Porter, who before her marriage was Miss Annie E. Smith, was born in 1856
and died Friday, June 10th, at the age of 75 years, leaving one stepson, Ibzan
Porter, one niece, Mrs. Barbara Bryant, and a number of grandchildren and
other relatives.  Her husband, Baxter Porter, preceded her in death by several
years.

She was a member of the Corinth Baptist Church and was a well loved Christian,
who leaves many friends to mourn her passing.
