Funeral Services For Mrs. I. Porter Held Wednesday

Mrs. Ibzan Porter, age 48, a resident of the Corinth community, died at the
home of her daughter, Mrs. Emery Watson, at Tullos, on Tuesday morning of this
week.

Mrs. Porter had been ill for several years.  She was born in Winn Parish in
1889, was a member of the Corinth Baptist Church.

Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon at three o'clock at Corinth and
interment in the church cemetery was conducted by Rev. W. D. Sherwood and Rev.
Harrison Cockerham assisted by Rev. B. C. Daniels and Rev. A. M. Green.

Surviving the deceased are her husband, Ibzan Porter; two daughters, Mrs. C.
H. Bolton, Winnfield, Mrs. Emery Watson, Tullos; two sons, Cecil Porter and
Baxter Porter, Tullos; stepmother, Mrs. Ella Womack; two brothers, C. F. Long,
Ruston, and J. D. Long, Tullos; three sisters, Mrs. J. T. Bolton, Winnfield,
Mrs. J. C. Linan, Mooringsport, and Mrs. Robert Barron, El Paso, Texas.

Pallbearers were Hilton Bolton, H. L. Allbritton, H. B. Bass, B. Rice, O.
Capps, P. Dawson, B. Bradford, and M. M. McAdams.
