Tillet Porter Dies Suddenly In Houston, Tex.

W. T. "Tillet" Porter, about 67, died of a heart attack in Houston Wednesday
morning.  Funeral services will be held in Houston some time Friday with
burial in a Houston cemetery.

A native of Winn Parish, Mr. Porter was the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. J.
Albert Porter, pioneer residents of Winn.

He is survived by his wife of Houston; four sisters, Misses Lois and Lena
Porter and Mrs. Mora Maher, all of Winnfield, and Ms. Lillian Allen of Lake
Charles; and four brothers, Ed and Harold Porter of Winnfield, Marion of
Houston, and Aubrey of Arkansas.
