Richie Power, of Baton Rouge, died Monday, January 7, 1975 at 7:30 p.m. in a Baton Rouge hospital after a short illness. He was employed by American Oil Corp. for 38 years, a past president of L. P. Gas Association, member of Istrouma Baptist Church and member of Denham Springs Masonic Lodge No. 97. His parents were the late Mr. and Mrs. M. W. "Cowboy" Power of Winnfield. His survivors include his wife, Mrs. Hortense McNobe Power of Baton Rouge; one daughter, Mrs. Theresa Norman of Baton Rouge; three grandchildren; two brothers, Earl Power of Pasadena, Texas, and Ford Power of Alexandria. Masonic services were held at Rabenhorst Funeral Home in Baton Rouge, Tuesday and funeral services were held at New Zion Baptist Church at Kentwood, La., at 3 p.m. Wednesday with Rev. T. C. French, Jr. officiating. Pallbearers were nephews.
