Eleanor Lois Grice Prescott

Services for Mrs. Eleanor Lois Grice Prescott of Joyce, La., were at 11 a.m.
today, Wednesday, October 4, in the chapel of Southern Funeral Home.  The
Revs. Jimmy Yocum and James Simons officiated.  Burial was in Pleasant Hill
Cemetery.

Mrs. Prescott, born October 3, 1926, died at 12:10 a.m. Monday, October 2,
1989, at Humana-Winn Parish Hospital in Winnfield after a long illness.

She was a homemaker and a member of East Winnfield Baptist Church.

Survivors include two sons, Douglas Prescott of Winnfield, La., and Dennis
Prescott of Baytown, Texas; three daughters, Mrs. Annette Cook of Dickinson,
Texas, Mrs. Joan Nesmith of San Antonio, Texas, and Mrs. Elaine Riley of
Winnfield, La.; four brothers, Rev. Carroll Grice and Edward Grice both of
Winnfield, A. J. Grice of Athens, Texas and Bob Grice of Texas City, Texas; 11
grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
