Mrs. A. Prestridge Rites Are Held At Gansville Nov. 12

Mrs. Fern Avis Prestridge, 31, a resident of the Gansville community in Winn
Parish, died at her home Thursday, November 11, after six months of serious
illness.  Funeral services and interment were held at Gansville on Friday,
Nov. 12, by Rev. Rufus Kitchenham, of Monroe, and Rev. Turner, of Hodge.  The
Southern Funeral Home of Jonesboro was in charge of arrangement.

Pallbearers were W. A. Smith of Washington, La., C. H. Rushing of Dodson,
Sarton Weeks of Jonesboro, Morgan Roberson of Wyatt, Norman Nazworth
(Walsworth?) of Wyatt, and Percy Hammons of Winnfield.

The deceased is survived by her husband, Arthur Prestridge; and four children,
Loyce Atten, Ruth Yvonne, Elizabeth Ann, and Wallace Wesley.
