Ted Darrell Price

Services for Ted Darrel Price were held Thursday in First Baptist Church with
Dr. Calvin Phelps and the Rev. Charles Haley officiating.  Burial was in
Garden of Memories Cemetery under direction of Southern Funeral Home.

Price, 59, of Winnfield, died at 9:55 a.m. Wednesday, July 1, 1987, in St.
Frances Cabrini Hospital, Alexandria.

Price was a native of Alexandria and a resident of Winnfield for the last 25
years.  He was a member of the First Baptist Church.  He was in the nursing
home industry since 1962 and owner of Autumn Leaves Nursing Home and
Central Management Company, Alexandria.  He was a veteran of World War II.

Survivors include his wife, Marjorie Shires Price of Winnfield; two sons,
Teddy Ray Price of Winnfield and Darrel Ray Price of Shreveport; one daughter,
Freda Zimmerman of Winnfield; three brothers, Walter Price, Jr. and Charles
Price, both of Pineville, and Fred Price of Tioga; one sister, Bette Smith of
Pineville, and seven grandchildren.
