John L. Price, Brother Of Ben Price, Succumbs

Funeral services were held for Mr. John L. Price, Saturday, August 15, in the
Presbyterian Church of West Monroe, under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral
Home. Services were conducted by the minister, Dr. Bradshaw, assisted by
Reverent Robert Gage of Winnfield. Burial was in the Hasley Cemetery.

Mr. Price formerly lived in Winnfield and was shipping clerk for the Mansfield
Hardwood Lumber Co., for a number of years. He is survived by his wife, Mrs.
John L. Price, one brother, Ben Price of Joyce, one son, James Price, Morgan
City, two daughters, Mrs. Percy Ford and Mrs. James Rutledge, of West Monroe,
one adopted daughter, Mrs. T. K. Giddings of Shreveport; and a number of
grandchildren
