Walter Price, 78, Succumbs March 9th at His Home

Walter Riley (Raleigh) Price, 78, died in his sleep at his home on the
Natchitoches highway Wednesday night, March 9.  Funeral arrangements are
incomplete, awaiting arrival of a son, Clarence Price, from Vidalia.  Southern
Funeral Home will be in charge of the funeral.

Mr. Price was born in Missouri, but had moved to Winn Parish as a young man,
remaining here until the time of his death.

Survivors include his wife; three sons, Clarence Price, Vidalia; Jimmy Price
and Ricky Price, Winnfield; one stepson, Billy Ray Warren, Winnfield; three
stepdaughters, Doris Jean Henderson, Slidell, Jean Courson, Amarillo, Texas,
Linda Warren, Winnfield; 9 grandchildren, and 9 great grandchildren.
