Parker at Zion Cemetery Funeral services were held at 3 p.m. Jan. 7, 1955, at Zion Baptist Church for Nathaniel Parker, 83, who passed away at his home January 6, after an illness of approximately three months. Services were conducted by Rev. Floyd Lisenby, pastor of Georgetown Baptist, Church and the Rev. M. E. Armstrong, pastor of Zion Baptist Church. Burial was in the Zion Cemetery. Pallbearers were Arnold Norsworthy, J. H. Richey, Doyle and Bobby Kyson, Troyce Robertson, and Rudolph Waters. Surviving the deceased are his wife, Mrs. Mary L. Parker; three daughters, Mrs. Voyce Keen of Bentley, Mrs. J. W. Kyson of Georgetown, and Miss Hazel Parker of Texas City, Texas; and three sons, B. B. Parker of Pollock, E. R. Parker of Georgetown, and H. C. Parker of Chatham. He also leaves 17 grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
