Ray Parker, 35, Sikes, Dies of Heart Attack

Funeral services for Ray Parker, 35, of Sikes, were scheduled to be held
Wednesday, December 24, at 2:30 p.m. following his sudden death of a heart
attack about 2:30 a.m. Tuesday.

Mr. Parker was working in Bastrop and was coming home for the Christmas
holidays.  He was spending the night with a sister in Grayson, before he died.

Services were to be at the Friendship Baptist Church, with Rev. C. C. Calhoun
officiating.  Burial was to be in the Friendship Cemetery, under direction of
Southern Funeral Home.  He was a member of the Baptist Church.

Survivors are his mother, Mrs. Emma Parker, two brothers, Roy Parker and Fay
Parker, all of Grayson; two sisters, Mrs. Gladys Mayes of Grayson and Mrs. W.
M. Dardlow of Clarks.
