Thomas "Bud" Provence

Funeral services for Thomas "Bud" Provence were held at 2 p.m. Friday, June
11, 1993 in the Southern Funeral Home Chapel, Winnfield, with Revs. James
Harston and Calvin Webb officiating.  Interment was in the Garden of Memories,
Winnfield.

Mr. Provence, age 64, of Winnfield, died Wednesday, June 9, 1993 in the Winn
Parish Medical Center following a lengthy illness.  Mr. Provence was a native
of Joyce, La., and a member of the Church of Christ.

Survivors include his wife, Virginia Provence of Winnfield; one son, Thomas H.
Provence, Jr., of Winnfield; and two grandchildren, Stephanie Nicole Grice and
Michael James Provence.

Pallbearers were Gregg Davies, Wayne Smith, Benny Long, Richard Wayne Skains,
Greg Fullerton, and Mavin Jordan.
