Funeral services were held at Cypress Creek Baptist Church at 3 o'clock with Rev. R. B. Kitchenham in charge. Mrs. Postell was known in the Cypress Creek community as "Aunt Callie." She was the wife of "Uncle" Mac Postell, who preceded her in death. Surviving are 8 children: Lee Postell, Mrs. Ellen Braden, Mrs. Sunda Borden, Mrs. Bettie Megison, Dennis Postell, all of Epps, La.; Andrew and T. Postell of Castor, La.; two sisters, Mrs. Martha Rudd, Calvin, and Mrs. A. C. Cockerham of Fort Worth, Texas; one brother, Jim Machen of Lancaster, Texas; forty two grandchildren and twenty three great grandchildren, and a host of relatives and friends who attended the funeral services. Mr. and Mrs. Postell reared their family in the Cypress Creek community.
