Mrs. Peters Dead

Funeral Tuesday

Funeral services for Mrs. W. S. Peters, Route 3, Winnfield, who died Monday,
were held at Zion Hill Cemetery, Tuesday, the Rev. Alwin Stokes, pastor of the
Presbyterian Church, officiating.  Mrs. Peters was 76 years old.

Mrs. Peters is survived by five sons and three daughters: J. S. Peters and A.
S. Peters of Shreveport; W. H. Peters and I. N. Peters of Winnfield; B. A.
Peters of Homer; Mrs. W. L. Jordan and Mrs. S. T. Fox of Winnfield and Mrs. P.
O. Moffett of Olla.

Two sisters, Mrs. C. Wade of Baton Rouge and Mrs. Sam Newsom of Hickory
Valley, survive Mrs. Peters.

All the children attended the funeral.
