D. Puckitt Is Buried Sunday At Gansville Mrs. Ollie Stinson Puckitt, 78, wife of the late J. D. Puckitt, died at the home of her son, Loyd Puckitt, West Monroe, March 28, after an illness of several years. Funeral services were conducted Sunday at the Jonesboro First Baptist Church with the Revs. J. W. Buckner and Bill Hunt officiating. Burial was in the Gansville Cemetery, west of Dodson. A native of Gansville community, Mrs. Puckitt, with her family, resided at Calvin for many years where Mr. Puckitt was engaged in the mercantile business. They later moved to Jonesboro, where he passed away several years ago. She is survived by one son, Lloyd; a sister, Mrs. Jamie Miller, of Dodson; and three grandchildren.
